The Shimizu
Automatic Guard DSP Module combines the Shimizu optical sensor and
digital signal process board to form the most powerful Biometrics
(Fingerprint Identification) application device. The Series
features two types of modules — (1) Standalone and (2) Networking
for LAN infrastructures.
The DSP is ideal for System Integrators and Product Developers who
are looking to integrate our leading finger imaging
technology into a range of applications: such as Access
Control, Automobile, Elevator, Smart Card, Building Security, POS
system, User Identification, Security System, ATM and
more.
Small size, smart design, ease of use and excellent performance
are the main benefits of Shimizu’s Automatic Guard DSP Modules.
The Modules supports common interfaces with support for various
I/O ports: RS232, RS485, GPI/O, and RJ45. Consequently, non-IA/IT
products can also incorporate biometric functions easily by using
these command ports.
Moreover, Shimizu’s BAPI compliant Software Development Kit
(SDK) also supports a variety of Protocols for the
System/Product Integrators and Software Developers looking to
integrate biometric technology into their applications.
Shimizu’s Fingerprint Technology offers a completely scalable 1:1
and 1:N finger imaging solution. The combined DSP and IC circuit
design, with Shimizu's proprietary fingerprint algorithm and
patented sensor technology, create a reliable and responsive
biometric system. Combined with either
CMOS scanner or chip sensor, the DSP
module is the only solution for system integrators and developers
